Bright and friendly atmosphere with quality ingredients. The pancakes were super fluffy, with a cakey texture and a nice crispy edge. They also had a slight coconut or vanilla flavor to them which was really nice. The crack Benedict was really great, perfectly poached eggs with a creamy, tangy hollandaise. The crack (steak) was a real star, and was tender with a great flavor. The cinnamon bun (we got it dirty) was insane, obviously delicious but 3 or 4 times larger than we were expecting!
Order at the counter and find/wait for an open table. Dog friendly. Ordered the country fried steak, the 222, the chilaquiles, blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes, and the cinny roll. The food was amazing, I'll be back to try more.
A great brunch spot! The food and drinks were incredible - would definitely recommend insanely large cinnamon scroll! We went on the weekend and had to park a couple blocks away and wait in line but it was definitely worth it. Trendy indoor and outdoor spaces and bustling vibe.
Okay, so, this place was GOOD good. It was poppin', which is a great sign, but despite how busy it was, the service was super fast and totally on point. The food was positively sublime, with perfect runny eggs on my benedict and a side of fruit that was actually fruit you want to eat. The standard menu is already phenomenal, but the specials were also a fun surprise and sounded incredible. Basically, Cafe Topes knows what they are doing, and I am here for it.
Cafe Topes nailed it! The Country Burrito was stuffed full of hearty goodness and topped with rich, savory country gravy—served with a knife stabbed down the middle for dramatic effect (and totally justified!). Paired it with an Horchata Latte that was bursting with flavor. The Chilaquiles were equally impressive—crispy house-made tortilla chips layered with tangy green chili sauce and perfectly cooked eggs over medium. Enjoyed it all on their outdoor patio on a partly sunny day. Couldn’t ask for a better brunch experience!
Divine breakfast food! My friend suggested we try this popular restaurant down the street from her hotel while we were in town. There was a long line outside on a Thursday morning and it was moving pretty slow. They have a large menu selection and everything on it looks good. We were drooling standing in line to order and watching all the delicious looking dishes being delivered to the other customers at their tables. You order at the counter with the friendly staff and are given a number stand. Open seating and there is lots of it inside and outside. A popular item was their giant cinnamon buns and it was so good! Fluffy and not too sweet. I ordered the chilaquiles and it was good too though I wish the salsa was thicker. My tortilla chips were drowning and getting soggy. My friend who ordered the grilled cheese sandwich said it looked good but fell short. She claimed it was a bit too sweet. Another friend ordered the omelet and loved it. The pancake was fluffy and perfectly cooked.
You found it, this the spot! An absolute gem. Portion sizes are big, food is fresh. We got The Goods Toast and added Crack aka Tri tip and a veggie scramble. Espresso is full bodied, we did a dirty chi and the chi concentrate is natural and spicy. Go... no no don’t keep looking, just go
On a sunny Sunday mid-morning, there was about a 30 minute line waiting to order at this cute counter cafe. It went by quickly, and the food was out 5-10 minutes after ordering. Everything was delicious. From the lavender latte, to the veggie scramble, the crispy hash browns, chicken sando, and scrambled eggs for the kiddo. We will definitely be back to this perfect brunch spot.
